I have quite a number of page groups that I would like to prune from the database. Is there any way to enter multiple pages at a time? Secondly, once I add pruned pagegroups in one database, is it possible to automatically transfer those to another database?

Regarding pruning multiple pages at once, yes this is possible. If I enter "anu.edu.au" as the string for pruning, then all pages that contain "anu.edu.au" in the hostname will be pruned.
Regarding whether it is possible to export the pruning settings (or pagegrouping/preserving, for that matter) from one database to another, unfortunately it's not possible at the present, but I agree it would be a useful feature.
