There are five subscription Tiers for VOSON: Free, Monthly Professional and Monthly Premium, and Annual Professional and Annual Premium.

The Free Tier is automatically part of every approved new Uberlink registration. The Free Tier includes access to VOSON using the VOSON 2.0 interface, which is supported in Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari (Desktop and Mobile). There is a monthly allocation of 50 VOSON Activity Units (VAU) included (which resets every month). Support questions may be posted in the Community Forum.

The Monthly Professional Tier is a paid subscription and includes access to VOSON using the VOSON 2.0 interface, which is supported in Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari (Desktop and Mobile). There is a monthly allocation of 500 VOSON Activity Units (VAU) included (which resets every month). Web crawls are given a higher priority than Free Tier crawls. Support questions may be posted in the Community Forum.

The Annual Professional Tier has all of the benefits of a Monthly Professional Tier subscription (see FAQ entry just above), but subscribers get a 10% discount for purchasing a full year's access to VOSON!

The Monthly Premium Tier is a paid subscription and includes access to VOSON using the VOSON 2.0 interface, which is supported in Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari (Desktop and Mobile). There is a monthly allocation of 5000 VOSON Activity Units (VAU) included (which resets every month). There is dedicated e-mail support and web crawls are given the highest priority (over both Professional and Free Tier crawls).

The Annual Premium Tier has all of the benefits of a Monthly Premium Tier subscription (see FAQ entry just above), but subscribers get a 10% discount for purchasing a full year's access to VOSON!

For small networks the Free Tier included with every new account should normally be sufficient, and several web crawls of this size can be done with the Free Tier.

This will depend upon the size of the crawled network and upon what kind of analysis you wish to undertake. Although web crawls constitute the largest share of VAU consumption, analysis of large networks will also require a high VAU allocation. A Professional or Premium Tier subscription will usually accommodate larger networks with more than 10 seed sites.

On the VOSON pricing page you can select between Monthly and Annual subscriptions from the tabs at the top of the page, and then choose a particular Tier. Selecting one of the Tiers will take you to the order checkout page, where you can enter your contact and payment details. Upon a successful purchase your VOSON subscription will be activated--usually within just a few minutes!

Absolutely. If you find that your project requirements exceed the resources made available by the Monthly Professional Tier, you may upgrade to a Monthly Premium Tier or Annual Professional/Premium Tier using the VOSON pricing page. Just click "Upgrade" below the subscription information of the Tier you're interested in.

Yes. By visiting the VOSON pricing page you can downgrade a Monthly Premium Tier subscription to a Monthly Professional Tier.

No, Annual Professional or Annual Premium Tier subscriptions cannot be downgraded.

We would be sad to see you go ☹! But from the VOSON pricing page you can cancel your subscription. Just click 'Edit or cancel subscription" underneath your (Monthly or Annual) Professional or Premium Tier subscription and follow the displayed instructions. Your subscription will not be renewed and will expire at the end of the current subscription period.

Currently our e-commerce provider doesn't allow the payment method to be changed when upgrading or downgrading a subscription. If a new payment method (e.g. new credit card) is required, you'll need to let us know so that we can 1) cancel your old subscription (note! you'll lose any remaining days on the subscription--they can't be prorated in this case), and 2) give you instructions to purchase an annual subscription directly from our e-commerce provider. As of January 2015, the EU has changed its regulations regarding collection of VAT. From 2015 onwards, VAT is collected on purchases made by EU residents. This is done automatically by our e-commerce provider and is itemised on your invoice. Please note that our subscription rates do not include VAT.
